Thailand striker Adisak Kraisorn came off the bench to give SCG Muang Thong United a 3-2 victory over Chiang Rai United in a see-saw Thai League 1 battle on Saturday night.

Heberty Fernandes picked up the ball from his own half, skirted a couple of Chiang Rai defenders and passed it on to an unmarked Korrawit Tasa, whose low angular drive found its way to the net in the 15th minute at Singha Stadium.

The Beetles restored parity in only three minutes when William Henrique dashed up the right flank to leave a battery of four Kirins defenders helpless before dinking the ball into the net.

Heberty was also involved in Muang Thong's second goal as he found skipper Teerasil Dangda with a calculated short through pass. Teerasil finished the job with a chip over diving Chiang Rai goalkeeper Apirak Woravong at the half-hour mark.

The hosts hit back again with Lee Yong-Rae grabbing the leveller in the 50th minute but Adisak did the Kirins a big favour, scoring the last-gasp winner.

In a big upset on Saturday night, newcomers Chiangmai won their first match in the top flight, handing Ratchaburi a 2-1 defeat.

Eliandro Santos and Evson Nascemento struck within the first quarter hour of the match to leave hosts Chiangmai in an ideal position.

Soo Il-Kang pulled one back for Ratchaburi two minutes into the second half but they were unable to find the equaliser.

Suphanburi also ended their three-game run of draws and condemned eastern giants Chonburi to the bottom of the table after a 3-0 hammering.

Jonatan Reis netted in the 40th and 90th minutes for hosts Suphanburi, sandwiching Cleiton Silva's goal shortly after the break.

On Friday night, PT Prachuap claimed a 3-1 victory over Chainat to leapfrog Port and True Bangkok United at the top of the table.

Both Port and Bangkok United will be in action tonight.

Prachuap were boosted a first-half brace by Herlison Caion, who picked up his first goal in the 25th and then converted a penalty in the injury time before the break.

Chainat put up a brief fightback and Santos closed the gap to 2-1 in the 65th minute before Prachuap's Chitpanya Thisud added his name to the scoresheet 10 minutes later.

In Sunday's matches, Port take on PTT Rayong, defending champions Buriram United travel to Bangkok United and Samut Prakarn City host Sukhothai.
