This is Praew restaurant in Suphan Buri, following a raid; police discovered that the business was a front for a brothel.
Many of the 30 girls who worked there come from Laos and are aged between 14-18 years-old. It is alleged that the girls were lured into working at the brothel under false pretences.
During the raid five of the girls were taken into custody.
It is believed that at least 25 girls escaped detention. Their whereabouts is currently unknown.
The Bawina Hongsukul Foundation for the Protection of Women and Children has since tried to help some of the girls by finding them new homes via adoption. They will also provide mental health care for those suffering from mental disorders.
The police were called in to put an end to the operation. The alleged procurer of women for prostitution was also apprehended.
