X-ray film in bullet-proof vests. Does it work?

With bullets flying almost nightly around their protest sites and marches, anti-government protesters are turning to makeshift bullet-proof vests reinforced with X-ray film to protect themselves. The vests are made on the spot near the rally sites, but do they work?

Many people firmly believe they do, but others are sceptical. Since our photographers and reporters are often in the line of fire, bulletproof vests are an important item of equipment. Thus, we decided to carry out some tests, both on the x-ray reinforced vests and the vests with metallic inserts used by our men.
