Central Pattana Plc (CPN) has increased the portion of its investment budget for the Dusit Central Park joint development project with Dusit Thani from a reported 17.4 billion baht in 2017 to 21.1 billion.

CPN's board of directors held a meeting on Dec 23 last year and passed a resolution to approve the increase by 3.75 billion baht from the previously approved figure.

The extra budget will allow a revision of the retail concept and zoning, higher safety standards for construction, and an upgrade of the rooftop bar and meeting facilities.

The hotel will get an increased number of rooms and the rooms facing Lumpini Park will be upgraded.

The entire construction will be adjusted in order to take maximum advantage of the land and the positioning of the entire project will be put into the super luxury category.
