Assoc. Prof. Wilert Puriwat, D.Phil., Dean of Chulalongkorn Business School at Chulalongkorn University, has wide experience in the academic and marketing fields. He earned his doctorate in Management Studies from the University of Oxford, UK; MBA in Strategy and MA in Public and Private Management from Yale University, USA; MBA in Marketing from Thammasat University; and BBA (Honours) in Finance & Banking from Chulalongkorn University. He was a former head of Marketing department , Chulalongkorn Business School. He is an author of numerous influential marketing journals such as the Asia-Pacific Social Science Review, Asian Journal of Applied Sciences, European Research Studies Journal, and Australasian Marketing Journal. His book, ‘Marketing Is All Around’ covers a broad range of marketing perspectives as well as building better work-life balance.

While remaining an active member of Chulalongkorn Business School , he was recruited as the chief consultant for Spa-Hakuhodo Advertising where he consulted and directed the brand communication team for companies such as Thai Airways, PTT, Osotspa, M-150, SHARK, 12 Plus, Ole, Utip, LEO, Singha, Panasonic, Tipco, Betagro, PPTV, Gambol, Nivea etc.
