Chinese superstar Xiong Jingnan has already accomplished incredible feats in her ONE Championship tenure.

Now, she hopes to add to that success when she puts her ONE women's strawweight world title on the line for the second time against atomweight queen Angela Lee at ONE Fight Night 2 on Oct 1 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The main-event battle will be the third fight in this epic rivalry between two of ONE's most dominant superstars, with the series currently standing at 1-1.

Xiong has had a monumental run as ONE women's strawweight world champion, having first gained the strap in only her second appearance in the circle in 2018.

She bested Singaporean star Tiffany "No Chill" Teo on that occasion to become the first-ever Chinese MMA world champion, and the win heralded the start of her reign atop the division.

"The Panda" has gone on to successfully defend the world title six times, including against Lee in their first meeting in March 2019.

In fact, Xiong has only been defeated once inside the circle, and that was at the hands of "Unstoppable."

She dropped down a weight class to try and snatch the Singaporean-American superstar's atomweight gold in their second bout, but Lee managed to secure a submission in the dying seconds to earn the win, despite the Chinese superstar looking dominant throughout.

Xiong has defended her throne on three occasions since then, against Ayaka "Zombie'' Miura, Michelle Nicolini, and Teo once more, and she now holds a 17-2 professional record, with 11 of those wins coming by finish.

If she can beat Lee in their third bout, she will secure her seventh world title defence and go down as one of the most dominant strawweight world champions in MMA history.
