Superbon Singha Mawynn was originally scheduled to defend his ONE featherweight kickboxing world title against No.1 ranked Chingiz "Chinga" Allazov next weekend, but an injury has forced the latter to withdraw.

Now, Superbon will meet No.5 ranked contender Tayfun "Turbine" Ozcan in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 2 on Oct 1 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Ozcan last stepped into the circle in February, when he scored a unanimous decision over the always aggressive K1 world champion Enriko Kehl.

Prior to that, he lost to Thai star Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the ONE featherweight kickboxing world grand prix semi-finals.

It was a close fight that ended in a split decision -- the first time Ozcan lost since February 2017.

However, with his recent win over Kehl, the Turkish man has some momentum behind him, and he'll have to tap into some of that come fight night when's standing opposite this generation's greatest featherweight kickboxer.

Thailand's Superbon, since joining ONE, has picked off old foe Sitthichai, knocked out legendary Giorgio Petrosyan, and defeated Marat Grigorian.

Speaking of which, Grigorian -- who was originally scheduled to face Ozcan in the headliner of ONE Fight Night 2's lead card -- now gets No.5 ranked featherweight Muay Thai menace Jamal Yusupov as his opponent.

Yusupov is undefeated in ONE, picking up wins over Thai icon Yodsanklai Fairtex, Samy Sana and Smokin' Jo Nattawut.

But Grigorian will be no walk in the park for the Russian. He's currently ranked No.2 in the featherweight kickboxing division and has beaten legends like Andy "Souwer Power" Souwer and Sitthichai inside the ONE circle.

In the meantime, check out all the action at ONE 161: Petchmorakot v Tawanchai on Thursday on AIS Play at 5pm.

The main card will follow on AIS Play at 7.30pm while Thairath TV will cut into the live broadcast at 9.30pm.
