ONE Fight Night 2: Xiong v Lee III may have been the second event from ONE Championship this week, but it most definitely took home first place for excitement.

On Saturday, Oct 1, top-ranked atomweight mixed martial arts contender Stamp Fairtex returned to the Circle to face #5-ranked Jihin Radzuan in a thrilling catchweight bout on the evening’s main card.

Both stars gave everything they had in the three-round affair at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, but it was the Thai megastar that came out on top with a unanimous decision win, thanks to her impressive work rate.

In the spectacle’s headliner, China’s first mixed martial arts world champion Xiong Jing Nan defended her strawweight throne against atomweight queen Angela Lee for the second time.

"The Panda” used her boxing skills to unsettle Lee in the early stages of the fight. And though “Unstoppable” rebounded and took it to her rival for the rest of the bout, it was Xiong’s relentless power that scored her the unanimous decision win in the end.

The Chinese superstar left the Circle with her strap and her seventh successive world title defense.

Earlier on the card, ONE debutants Halil Amir and Ilya Freymanov both earned US$50,000 performance bonuses for their wins over Timofey Nastyukhin and Martin Nguyen, respectively.
