Bangkok United will join Buriram United at the top of the Thai League 1 table with a home win over Ratchaburi in a rearranged match today.

Their original encounter last month was called off after 53 minutes when the score was 0-0 due to a heavy downpour.

Today's match will start at the 53rd minute.

Bangkok United sit in third place on 20 points, three behind pacesetters Buriram, while Ratchaburi are fifth on 17 points.

The Angels' confidence has been boosted by their 1-0 win against then-leaders Chonburi on Saturday.

Their attack will be led by Brazilians Heberty Fernandes, Vander Luiz and Willen Mota, who scored the winner against Chonburi.

"It will be a difficult game for us," said Bangkok United coach Aurelio Vidmar.

"They are strong and have many good players.

"But we have to try to get three points to be the top two team in the league."
