Bangkok United missed the chance to reach the Thai League 1 summit when they lost 1-0 to Ratchaburi on Wednesday night.

Alvin Fortes scored the winner for the Dragons in the 80th minute in a rearranged match at True Stadium.

The capital side threw everything at the visitors in the final minutes but Tristan Do, Rungrat Poomjanthuek and Vander Luis all failed to find the back of the net as the Angels suffered their first home loss of the season.

Their original encounter was called off after 53 minutes when the score was 0-0 due to a heavy downpour. Yesterday's game started at the 53rd minute.

After nine games, Bangkok United and Ratchaburi have 20 points, three behind leaders and holders Buriram United.

Both will have tough assignments in their next games on Sunday when Bangkok United visit Buriram and Ratchaburi host second-ranked Chonburi.
