Rodtang Jitmuangnon proved why he is one of the most feared strikers on ONE Championship’s roster when he decimated Italian-Moroccan challenger Joseph Lasiri at ONE Fight Night 4: Abbasov v Lee on Saturday, 19 November.

Lasiri attempted to take away Rodtang’s ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title but was unsuccessful after the Thai megastar blasted his foe over five rounds.

Rodtang scored two eight-counts over the current ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion, one in the fourth round by a left jab and the second in the fifth round by an overhand right.

His force was just too much for Lasiri to control, and Rodtang got the nod from all three judges.

In the main event, ONE lightweight world champion Christian Lee defeated former ONE welterweight world champion Kiamrian Abbasov, becoming a two-division ONE world champion in the process.

Lee survived an early scare in round one, where he was almost knocked out by Abbasov. He hung in the fight, however, and rallied back thereafter. By round four, Abbasov was hanging on by a thread until Lee dragged him down and finished him off by ground-and-pound.
