Seksan Or Kwanmuang was presented with the most remarkable birthday gift of all at ONE Lumpinee 1.

He took on Tyson Harrison on Jan 20 in a spectacular catchweight Muay Thai match-up that made waves across social media.

"The Man Who Yields To No One" electrified the audience with a masterful performance against a young challenger who was eager to prove himself against a renowned veteran.

In addition to his victory, Seksan's birthday was made even more special as he was rewarded with an impressive US$50,000 bonus from ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

"A thousand thanks to Mr Chatri who gave me a huge bonus. I really appreciate it. This bonus can save the day for my family," Seksan said.

"I will use them for my children's education in the future. I want my children to have the highest education possible, so they can get a proper job. I don't want them to become a fighter and get hurt like me."

"John Wayne Noi" and Seksan thrilled the capacity crowd at Lumpinee with a flurry of elbows and kicks.

The two men traded heavy blows with the fight coming down to the wire as the audience roared with excitement at the thrilling action.

It was truly an epic battle of Muay Thai as the catchweights demonstrated their finesse of all eight weapons.

The 34-year-old Sekasan had already faced many of the ONE Championships' fighters prior to his debut with the organisation, including Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Rodlek PK Saenchai, and Muangthai PK Saenchai, before facing off with the younger, taller, and larger Harrison.

However, Seksan has never been afraid of a challenge in his incredible career as an athlete, regardless of the differences between him and his opponents.

"I had a height disadvantage in this fight," he said. "I admit that I was hurt badly. In the second round I staggered from Tyson's heavy blows. They really packed a punch, but I gritted my teeth and kept fighting because my family was there to cheer for me. I have to thank Tyson for fighting toe-to-toe with me and making this fight exciting and impressive for the fans."
