Superbon Singha Mawynn will be the sole Thai representative at ONE Fight Night 11 today.

The former ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion faces Turkish contender Tayfun Ozcan on home soil at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium where he begins his journey back to world title glory.

Superbon has fought many battles at the famous stadium in Bangkok, but the decorated 32-year-old revealed that it will be his first appearance there since the iconic venue moved to its current location in 2014.

"I've never fought in the new Lumpinee stadium before. I fought only at the old Lumpinee. I started fighting overseas before the stadium was moved to the current location. You can say this is my first fight at the new Lumpinee," he said.

"Lumpinee is an iconic stadium in Muay Thai history for a long time. This place is like a Mecca of Muay Thai, no matter where it's located."

The Thai superstar's world title reign came to an end in January as Azerbaijani kickboxer Chingiz Allazov ran rampant in the second round of their ONE Fight Night 6 battle, when he dropped Superbon three times to claim the featherweight kickboxing strap.

For Superbon, however, ONE Fight Night 11 isn't only about redemption.

The Singha Mawynn Muay Thai representative also feels the pressure to claim his 114th professional win in honour of his home country.

"I'm the only athlete representing Thailand in this global event. It's a big responsibility on my shoulders, too," he said.

ONE Fight Night 11 is headlined by the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title showdown between two-sport champ Regian Eersel and heavy handed Russian promotional newcomer Dmitry Menshikov.
