Paris 2024 is the third consecutive Olympics Games to include golf after its absence ended at Rio 2016 and four Thai golfers will tee off against the best players in the world at the famed Golf National layout outside the French capital in early August.
Thailand came closest to getting an Olympic medal in Rio de Janeiro when Kiradech Aphibarnrat finished in joint fifth place.
Next month, Kiradech, in his second Olympic appearance, Atthaya Thitikul, Patty Tavatanakit and Phachara Khongwatmai will once again begin the bid for the country's maiden medal.
While Patty, like Kiradech, will make her second Games appearance, Atthaya and Phachara will be taking part in the Games for the first time.
Atthaya missed most of 2023 and the early part of 2024 with a thumb injury and only returned to action in April at the LPGA's Chevron Championship, the first women's major of the season.
Atthaya has long been tipped to reach the very top of the game and the 21-year-old has hit a rich vein of form since her comeback.
The world No.14 had four top-10 finishes before winning the Dow Championship -- a team event -- with China's Yin Ruoning last month.
In 2023, Atthaya became the only player in the 70-year history of the Vare Trophy to earn the award without winning a tournament.
Atthaya also became the world's No.1-ranked player for a stretch in 2022 and went on to win the LPGA Tour rookie of the year honours.
Apart from her three victories on the LPGA Tour, Atthaya has also won four times on the Ladies European Tour.

Patty, meanwhile, has won two titles so far this year.
The 24-year-old captured the 2024 Aramco Saudi Ladies International -- her first Ladies European Tour crown -- to snap a title drought dating back to 2021.
A week later, Patty became the second Thai champion to be crowned at the Honda LPGA Thailand, winning her first LPGA Tour event since her maiden Tour title at the 2021 Chevron Championship.
Patty, currently ranked 18th in the world, also finished third at the Evian Championship -- the year's fourth major -- earlier this month. She has also had two other top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour this season.
Patty claimed her maiden major victory at the 2021 ANA Inspiration and in the process became the first LPGA rookie to win the tournament since 1984.
The big-hitting star and Ariya Jutanugarn are the only two players from Thailand to ever win a major golf championship.
In his first Olympics in Rio eight years ago, Kiradech finished in joint fifth place, five shots off a bronze medal winner.
The 34-year-old, a former Asian Tour Order of Merit champion, claimed the 52nd spot in the qualifying process to be Thailand's No.1 in Paris.
Phachara, also an Asian Tour regular, was a key member of Thailand's team that won silver at the Hangzhou Asian Games last year. He is the fifth Thai male golfer to qualify for the Olympics.
The 60-player men's tournament will tee off first on Aug 1, with the final round to be played on Aug 4.
The 60-player women's event will start on Aug 7 and conclude on Aug 10.
Both events will use the same individual strokeplay format.
