Thailand face Australia in the semi-finals of the Asean Boys' U19 Championship in Surabaya, Indonesia, today.
The match, which is to be played at GBT Stadium, kicks off at 3pm and will be shown live on AIS Play.
Thailand drew 1-1 with Malaysia on Thursday to qualify for the last four as Group C runners-up while Australia were Group B winners.
"We had only one day rest and it is important for our players to recover their fitness," said Thailand coach Emerson Pereira during a pre-match press conference yesterday.
"Australia are a good and strong team so it will be a difficult game for us. They also have more rest days so I will have to select the fittest players available for the game tomorrow [today]," said Emerson.
"In all three matches in the group stage, we missed a lot of scoring opportunities so we must improve on that as well. I believe the players will do their best against Australia," he added.
Thailand striker Thanawut Phochai admitted Australia are tough opponents but vowed to give his all during the match. "We know that they are a good team but we are not afraid of them and will try to follow the coach's tactics and do our best."
Indonesia and Malaysia face off in the other semi-final match today.
In the semi-finals, teams will play 30 minutes of extra-time before proceeding to a penalty shoot-out if it is a tie after 90 minutes.
