The new domestic football season will kick off this weekend with Thai League 1 starting this Friday, Thai League 2 on Saturday and Thai League 3 on Sept 14.
The new season will also feature two Cup tournaments.
Stronger financial support will be provided to all the clubs, said Nualphan Lamsam, president of the Football Association of Thailand, during the launch event at the weekend.
Each club in T1, T2 and T3 will receive 10 million baht, three million baht and one million baht respectively this season, the FAT chief said.
There will be main sponsors for all three leagues including Toyota Motor Thailand, Muang Thai Life Assurance, Muang Thai Insurance and PTT Group.
Thai League 1 will be called the Revo Thai League, Thai League 2 is now Muang Thai League while PTT Group will sponsor Thai League 3.
"The Thai League is moving forward steadily and strongly because it has returned with three main sponsors, who will jointly support the development of the domestic league, which is the foundation of Thai football," said Nualphan.
"The Thai League 1 will be the first football league in the Asean region to use the VAR Cross Hair 3D technology with 16 cameras and a 3D offside line like the English Premier League," she added.
TrueVisions has also returned as an official broadcaster, with more than 300 T1 and T2 matches and Cup games to be shown live this season.
