With this pandemic climate still lingering, many companies have delayed launching their new products, but not Samsung who showed their new smart gadgets to the Thai media yesterday.

The Korean company had a few Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and regular Note 20 phones ready for the Bangkok Post to try earlier yesterday.

The Note 20 Ultra is Samsung's top-end phone of 2020. It comes with a faster near-pen-and-paper-like S Pen, 5G ready, Exynos 990 CPU, 12 Gigabytes of RAM, 4,500 mAh battery, a set of 50x zoom & 8K ready lenses, a laser auto focus sensor to fix what the S20 Ultra lacks in focusing speed, and a 120 Hertz 1440P 6.9 inch Gorilla Glass Victus screen that claims to withstand 2 meter drops, and a price tag of 42,900 baht.

While the regular Note 20 imitates all what the Note 20 Ultra has but reduces the screen to 1080P 6.7 inch, has 4,300 mAh battery capacity, and exclude the laser auto focus. The Note 20 will cost 29,900 baht.

The Note serie phones are bundled with S Pens which can be used for note taking, handwriting-to-text recognition, and many other advanced notetaking functionalities.

Both phones come with a built-in wireless screen casting, called wireless DEX, for easy screen sharing and PowerPoint presentations.

These Notes will be deeply integrated with Microsoft Windows by giving real-time file & data synchronization, later in the year.
