United Information Highway Co (UIH), a digital infrastructure and solution provider under Benchachinda Group, has joined hands with Microsoft Thailand to facilitate the transformation of Thai businesses into the next digital era.

With digital technology playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of modern digital businesses, UIH will utilise its tech strengths in cloud, software, hardware, automation and security under the UIH ecosystem by integrating with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure technologies to deliver solutions in data analytics, digital workplace, e-commerce and digital marketing.

UIH and Microsoft believe the synergy will make Thai businesses more competitive, said Sunti Medhavikul, managing director of UIH.

To drive the emergence of digital businesses in Thailand, UIH is developing innovative solutions with Microsoft's technologies in various dimensions. Digital workplaces solutions are being built using unified communication, security and automation technology to create a seamless and secure working environment.

Artificial intelligence technology is being deployed to enhance e-commerce systems and data analytics and create new marketing technologies to offer digital user experiences. The integration of technology with advanced customer data platforms helps elevate digital onboarding and provides consumers with a more impressive service experience.

Mr Sunti said the synergy between UIH and Microsoft will drive the company's capabilities to create digital business solutions that serve the needs of UIH customers in all industries in the future digital business landscape.

According to Dhanawat Suthumpun, managing director of Microsoft Thailand, the partnership with UIH is a crucial step for Microsoft in transforming Thai businesses so they can thrive in the digital economy.

He said that by utilising technology, businesses can improve their operations and processes, allowing them to effectively handle new challenges and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.

Under the partnership, Mr Dhanawat said Microsoft will bring its advanced technologies to work with UIH's strengths, which include networks, cloud computing, cybersecurity, content and digital solutions, to create innovative solutions that will help businesses improve their capabilities and transition to the digital age in a sustainable way.
