Princess Ubolratana says thanks to Thais

Princess Ubolratana conveyed a message of thanks to Thais Saturday morning after His Majesty the King issued a royal announcement late on Friday night saying political involvement by a senior royal family member was inappropriate.

In her Instagram post, she thanked Thais for their support after having been nominated as prime ministerial candidate by the Thai Raksa Chart Party that morning.

"I would like to say once again that I want to see Thailand move forward, be admired and be accepted by international countries. I want to see all Thais have rights, opportunities, good living and happiness.

"Thank you with sincere love. May you be blessed with luck and happiness," she said, adding the #IloveYou hashtag.
