Elderly Brit dies in Pattaya movie theatre

PATTAYA: A 78-year-old British national died in a movie theatre at a shopping complex on Pattaya 2 Road in tambon Nong Prue of Bang Lamung district on Tuesday night.

He was identified as Bernard Wilfred Channing.

Police were informed of the incident about 8pm.

Witnesses said the man bought a ticket to see "Annabelle Comes Home" but he collapsed before the movie started at The Avenue Pattaya shopping mall.

Police were investigating.
