Thailand to virtually host CISW in November

Thailand will host the Cannabis Investment Summit World (CISW) between Nov 11-13 this year.

However, in response to the unexpected outbreak of Covid-19, the event, originally planned to be held in Bangkok will instead be hosted online with the support of Rangsit University, College of Allied Health Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and Thonburi Healthcare Group.

The CISW will be a three-day virtual conference for people who are interested in all aspects of the medical cannabis and hemp industry. Topic areas will include: "Research and Development", "Intellectual Property", "Legislation and Regulation", "Testing Requirements", "Operations Standards Requirements", "Cannabis Business Models" and "Investment Opportunities".

Jacky Ong, president of CISW, said the conference will be the perfect stage for local, regional and international investors to explore new business opportunities as well as build a strong network among reputable cannabis professionals and experts.

"The conference will bring together a team of well-known cannabis experts, university professors and top speakers from Thailand and around the world. Visitors can expect to receive a comprehensive understanding of the current and very progressive global medical cannabis and hemp industry," Mr Ong said.

There will be more than 60 speakers from more than 15 countries.

Each day will be packed with a multitude and variety of presenters, speakers, and participants can register to join any number of sessions.
