SAMUT PRAKAN: Fire gutted the office of a shipping container depot on a road out of Suvarnabhumi airport, in Bang Phli district, on Monday night.
Bang Phli police said the fire was reported about 10.30pm in the office of the company operating the container yard.
The office was made from five modified containers, and was surrounded by hundreds of other containers, stacked up around it.
Fire engines and crews from Tha Chalong tambon administration organisation and nearby municipalities took about an hour to extinguish the blaze.
Police were investigating the cause. Damage had yet to be assessed.
