Charoen Pokphand Group Company Limited, or CP Group, a Thailand-based conglomerate has been named as one of the world's most ethical companies by Ethisphere, an organisation that measures and advances the standards of ethical business practices.
CP Group has been recognised for the first time, and is one of seven honourees in the Food, Beverage & Agriculture category. There are 135 firms honoured this year, with awardees spanning 22 countries and 47 industries.
"Integrity is embedded in our DNA and is the foundation of our ethics since our founding 100 years ago," said Suphachai Chearavanont, CEO of CP Group.
