Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has expressed his gratitude to US President Joe Biden for the US' donation of 1.5 million doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine to Thailand.

Gen Prayut showed his gratitude to Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the ambassador and permanent representative of the US to the UN, during their meeting at Government House yesterday, said government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri.

The ambassador, meanwhile, underscored the US commitment to Thais as the two countries work together to fight Covid-19, said Mr Anucha.

The spokesman added that the ambassador praised the government for its speedy Covid-19 vaccination management.
