Pol L/C Norawich Buadok, involved in a fatal accident last Friday, faces an additional charge of speeding after forensic examination results have shown his motorcycle was travelling between 108-128kph at the time of the incident.

Pol Maj Gen Jirasant Kaew­saeng-ek, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau (MPB), said investigators would summons the policeman to answer the charge.

Following the road tragedy, deputy Bangkok governor Sophon Pisuttiwong said City Hall will allocate funds for installing traffic lights at 100 zebra crossings throughout the city and impose speed limits at crossings.
