YALA: Two policemen were wounded when a bomb exploded at a level crossing near Taseh police station in Muang district on Wednesday morning.

Pol L/C Cholathee Srikaeo received wounds to his hands and head and Pol L/C Suebpong Sopikul suffered injuries to both legs.

The bomb detonated about 8.40am.

Police said the two were members of a patrol comprising an armoured pickup truck and two motorcycles.

No other details were available.
