Bomb hurts two policemen in Narathiwat

Two policemen were slightly injured by a bomb explosion in Rueso district of Narathiwat province on Monday night.

Pol Lt Marut Nilkosi, the duty officer at Rueso police station, said attack occurred about 9.20pm while a team of police were patrolling on two motorcyles and one pickup truck.

As they were passing a petrol station at Ban Plaina in tambon Rueso-Ok, about 400 metres from the police station, a home-made bomb planted on the roadside was detonated.

The explosion slightly injured Pol L/Cpl Hasan Pochi and Pol L/Cpl Yuthaporn Silabut, who were riding on a motorcycle.
