Pheu Thai forgives Thanathorn for Thaksin remark

Pheu Thai Party's key members say they have forgiven Future Forward Party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit over his remark about fugitive former premier Thaksin Shinawatra conflicts of interest.

Phumtham Wechayachai, adviser to party leader Sompong Amornvivat, said Mr Thanathorn had offered his apologies and they now understood each other. While defending himself in the case of allegedly holding shares in a media company, V-Luck Media, in violation of the charter, Mr Thanathorn said he wanted to avoid the conflicts of interest that got Thaksin in trouble.
