Finance Minister Uttama Savanayana is 3 million baht better off, with assets worth over 223 million baht, following his decision to run in the general election earlier this year, according to his asset declaration reported to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
Mr Uttama told the NACC in January he possessed 220 million baht in assets when he resigned as industry minister in the military-engineered Prayut Chan-o-cha government.
Most of the minister's assets are currently made up of shares, bonds, properties and six land plots in Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom and Nakhon Ratchasima, according to the graftbuster.
He also owns a total of six cars, his finances revealed.
Mr Uttama was among three ministers who recently declared their assets and liabilities to the commission.
The NACC earlier this month disclosed the assets of six other ministers and deputy ministers who assumed office on July 16 this year.
