Sukhumvit's chic modern french restaurant and bar ivy 47 celebrates its official grand opening

Bangkok August, 2019 – The heart of Bangkok has welcomed a hidden oasis of a Foodies paradise; a contemporary French restaurant and bar aims to provide unmatched tantalizing dishes and exquisite dining experiences. On Tuesday August 20th, 2019, IVY 47 Restaurant and Bar officially celebrated its grand opening.

Located near the end of Sukhumvit 47, the unique two-story house boasts a warm, yet casual elegance atmosphere. Designed to create a seamless transition from day to night, the chic interiors artfully blend a stylish restaurant and a dynamic lounge into one.  The beautiful green garden is amidst singing birds. The vibrant mix appeals to both young and the young-at-heart social butterflies or working professionals who need an escape from the hectic city life of Bangkok – a place where they can hang out with friends, meet for blind dates, and celebrate!

On the auspicious grand opening, celebrity friends such as Pol. Gen. Somyos Poompanmoung, President of Football Association of Thailand, Charyl Chappuis, Helena Busch, Sinthaweechai Hathairattanakool, Teeratep Winothai, Champ Peerapon Euariyakul, Mika Chunuonsee, and Taya Rogers attended and showed support.

IVY 47 Restaurant and Bar is the brainchild of footballers-turned-entrepreneurs duo Tristan Do and Sam Nordine.  IVY 47 was co-founded by Thailand’s heartthrob Tristan Do, a French-Thai footballer currently playing right-back with Bangkok United and represents Thailand on Thai National Football Team, and  Sam Nordine, a former colleague and football player himself.

“Unlike other restaurants in Bangkok, Ivy 47 isn’t your typical French restaurant. I’ve curated all of my personal dining experiences from all over the world into the best experience at Ivy 47,” comments Mr. Tristan Do, Co-Founder.

“As regular fine-diners ourselves, we wanted to create a place that would provide a solution to all the problems we have encountered as customers. Ivy 47 will thrive as a go-to destination that will provide both restaurant and bar experience, promising high-quality meal, creative concocted drinks, and top quality service. We also pay attention to details such as valet parking service, weather issues, amongst others to ensure that our customers have an amazing time here,” comments Mr. Sam Nordine, Co-Founder of Ivy 47.

SCG Muangthong United football star Charyl Chappuis further comments, “My lifestyle after training is to find destinations to relax, hang out, or try new restaurants. When I knew Tristan has opened IVY 47, not only am I here to congratulate him, but I am impressed with its chic ambiance, location, and tasty food. It’ll definitely go viral, for sure.”

IVY 47 invites you experience the difference and expect the best.

IVY 47 is a two-story boutique house consisting of first floor dining restaurant and second floor bar, located on 28 Sukhumvit Soi 47, Sukhumvit Road, Klongtan Nua, Wattana, Bangkok, Thailand. Open Tuesday-Sunday.
