AIS wins 2nd consecutive “Asiamoney Asia’s Outstanding Companies: Telecommunications” award

Advanced Info Service PCL (AIS) has emphasised its status as leader in Thailand’s telecommunications industry by becoming the only operator in Thailand to win the “Asiamoney Asia’s Outstanding Companies: Telecommunication Services Sector Award” and doing so for the 2nd consecutive year.

Asiamoney is the leading financial magazine with the most readers in Asia. The award reflects AIS’s stability and strength as “network and digital service provider” while following good corporate governance with responsibility to all levels of stakeholders and continuously generating benefits to society.

Criteria considered the various business operations and overall representation of the company, including: 1. Business profits, 2. Human resource administration and management team, 3. Trust from investors, 4. Building relationships and coordination activities with investors, 5. Social Responsibility. 

Honours were bestowed by financial experts and related fields, including fund managers, investment analysts, bankers, and representatives from the Rating Agencies group of 824 people in the Asian region which participated in the voting from 8 May 2019 to 12 July 2019.

Asiamoney Awards 2019 has identified AIS as the leading Asian telecommunications company to receive the Asiamoney Asia’s Outstanding Companies Award which also includes Singapore Telecommunications from Singapore, Globe Telecom from the Philippines, TIME dotcom from Malaysia, LG U + from South Korea and Bharti Airtel from India, among others.
