BGRIM, Petrovietnam to jointly develop LNG project and 3,000 MW power plant in Vietnam

Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul

Witnessed the conclusion of an accord between B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM) and Petrovietnam Power Corporation to jointly study and implement the development of an integrated liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Vietnam. 

The collaboration would lead the two leading power concerns to embark on a 3,000-megawatt power plant using LNG as fuel, as well as an LNG import and distribution project in the Socialist Republic.

BGRIM Chairman Dr. Harald Link, BGRIM President/CEO Mrs. Preeyanart Soontornwata, Petrovietnam Power Corporation Chairman Mr. Ho Cong Ky, and Petrovietnam Power Corporation President/CEO Mr. Le Nhu Linh, together with senior executives from the two companies participated in the signing ceremony which took place on November 2, 2019, at The Athenee Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.
