Feature-length cartoon movie premiers nationwide on December 5th.
T&B MEDIA GLOBAL (THAILAND) CO., LTD, founded by animated series ‘Shelldon’ creator Dr. Jwanwat “Dr. Tan” Ahriyavraromp, has launched a Thai movie distribution company with the release of ‘Ne Zha’ in collaboration with Warner Brothers Thailand.
‘Ne Zha’ is a blockbuster animation film from China which has grossed over US$700 million worldwide (25 billion Thai Baht), ranking it among this year’s ten highest grossing movies. The film also holds the record for highest grossing non US-made animated film in the world, and second highest grossing movie in China.
When asked why he chose ‘Ne Zha as the premier movie for his distribution company, Dr. Tan responded: "T&B chose to enter the Thai movie distribution industry with ‘Ne Zha’ because this movie meets all of our expectations as a company that generates happiness. We want to share great stories with good, important messages and ‘Ne Zha’ does just that.”
‘Ne Zha’ re-imagines one of Chinese mythology’s most intriguing deities, following his life as a child whose fate was accidentally switched from being a god to a demon. By learning lessons in love, honour, friendship and family, Ne Zha finds his way and sets his own destiny.
