The Aspen Tree highlights Thailand’s appeal for older adults at ITF Championship seniors tennis tournament

The Aspen Tree, a Bangkok-based specialist in communities and services for older adults, sponsored the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Thailand Seniors Championship (Grade A) in Pattaya to highlight Thailand’s appeal for healthy living in later life.

The tournament’s 200 contestants, aged 35 to 70, showed how older adults can enjoy ‘The Most Beautiful Chapter in Life’ by staying mentally and physically active, said Ms. Hye-June Park, President of The Aspen Tree, a business unit of Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC).

“The Aspen Tree believes that older adults can enjoy ‘The Most Beautiful Chapter in Life’ by finding fulfilling activities and surroundings, a concept that inspires our communities and services,” she said.

“With its commitment to aging-in-place, The Aspen Tree will provide every element of design, services, programs, and support for older adults to live happily, healthily, and independently in the homes and communities they love even as their needs change.”

The ITF Seniors Championship (Grade A), held at the Royal Cliff Hotel’s Fitz Club, is the most prestigious and coveted event on the ITF Seniors circuit in Thailand and attracted top players from 17 countries.

Contestants and spectators from overseas gained insights into Thailand’s opportunities for older adults through events such as a ‘Welcome Dinner’ and ‘High Tea’ hosted by The Aspen Tree, said Ms. Park.

“The Aspen Tree connected with many participants and found they were enthusiastic about Thailand for enjoying an active life as an older adult,” she said.

“Thailand can offer ‘The Most Beautiful Chapter in Life’ through its leisure opportunities, its world-class healthcare, and its culture of courtesy and kindness. The Aspen Tree’s aging-in-place concept further enhance this lifestyle with a full spectrum of design, services, programs, and support for Thailand to match the finest lifestyles for older adults across Asia.”

The Aspen Tree’s debut community will be at The Forestias at Bang Na KM 7 in Bangkok, a 300-rai green district where residences will be innovatively integrated with forest.
