Order of Temporary Closure of Premises (No.3)
Reference is made to the Announcement of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration entitled “Order of Temporary Closure of Premises” dated 21st March 2020, with the approval of the BMA Committee on the Communicable Diseases for the purpose of restraining the epidemic of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is a dangerous communicable disease, and limiting public gatherings and preventing public meetings to avoid large scale outbreak.
To clarify the definition of premises that must close temporarily according to the above-mentioned announcement so as to be socially responsible and cooperate in efforts to restraint the COVID-19 epidemic, the following amendments to exemptions are hereby made to the above-referenced announcement with immediate effect:
1. Restaurants, including restaurants located in commercial buildings, food stalls and hawkers (open for delivery and takeaways to be eaten off the premises and hotel restaurants only serving hotel guests and for delivery and takeaway), except restaurants and food courts at airports.
2. Shopping malls including shopping centres and community malls, except supermarkets, drug stores, miscellaneous stores selling necessary items, restaurants (available for delivery and takeaway only), and financial banking zones.
