The Thai Health Promotion Foundation is a government agency that is not part of the bureaucratic system or a state enterprise under the law on budgetary procedures.
The objective of the Foundation is to promote and support public health according to the Health Promotion Fund Act B.E. 2544.
The second vice chairman and nine qualified members on the Committee on Health Promotion Fund (current set) vacate their position on 16 October 2020 in accordance with their three-year terms.
The Foundation therefore invites those interested, government organisations, government agencies and private sectors to apply for the positions or nominate persons with qualifications and without prohibitions for nomination.
Applicants and nominated persons must meet the qualifications and must not be under any of the prohibitions under section 18 of the Health Promotion Fund Act B.E. 2544, as follows:
(1) Holding Thai nationality;
(2) Not over 70 years of age;
(3) Not bankrupt, or adjudged incompetent or quasi-incompetent;
(4) Not sentenced to imprisonment by a final judgment except as a punishment for an offence committed through negligence or a petty offence;
(5) Not holding a political position, position of local council member or local administrator, committee or a person responsible for administration of a political party, political party consultant or political party officials;
(6) Not behaving contrary to or inconsistent with the objectives of the fund under section 5;
(7) Not being a stakeholder in an enterprise that acts with the Fund, or in a business that is contrary to or inconsistent with the objectives of the fund, or benefiting from a business that is contrary to or inconsistent with the objectives of the fund, directly or indirectly, unless being a business operator in the public interest and not seeking profit.
Those interested can apply in person or nominate a person on working days (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) or submit an application or nominate a person by mail. Fill in the documents and send by post to Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Health Learning Center Building, 99/8 Soi Ngamdupli, Thung Maha Mek Sub-district, Sathon District, Bangkok 10120, or via mail at boardrecruitment@thaihealth.or.th. In the case of applying and sending documents by post, the date will be based on the postage stamp.
