MEA inspects electricity security at Bang Sue Canal drainage tunnel

Mr. Samreang Cheawchukool, Assistant Governor of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), along with the Department of Drainage & Sewerage, Bangkok, visited the Bang Sue Canal drainage tunnel to inspect the electricity system, install security equipment for the pumping station, and prepare and rehearse plans for effective drainage at Kiakkai Pumping Station, Pracharat 1 Road, Dusit, on July 9, 2020.

For the power distribution system of the pumping stations, the MEA mobilised staff to inspect the system before the rainy season at ten important locations including pumping stations, drainage tunnels, and tunnels, out of all 492 service areas, to ensure full efficiency and safety during the rainy season.
