“Vogue Hope At Siam Center” The first visual art exhibition from 5 photographers and 12 artists, to ignite and pass on ‘hope’ to the world. Today to 10 September 2020 at Siam Center, G Floor. Part of the proceeds go to Debaratana Vejjanukula Foundation.

Siam Center, The Ideaopolis, in collaboration with Vogue Thailand, hosts “Vogue Hope At                        Siam Center”, an inspiring worldwide Vogue project to empower ‘hope’ and reinvigorate good spirit among Thais and across the world.

At this motivating exhibition, hope shines through a showcase of photographs and different forms of visual arts from five renowned Thai photographers and 12 artists. Specially-designed prints, exclusive items and engaging activities are also featured. Part of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Debaratana Vejjanukula Foundation. The showcase takes place from today to 10 September 2020 at Atrium 1, G Floor, Siam Center. 

Kullawit Laosuksri, Editor in Chief of Vogue Thailand, said: “For the first time in Vogue’s 128-year history,  all Vogue editions across the globe have united in this “Vogue Hope” project. Together we communicate under a universal theme of hope, with the ultimate goal to inspire over 245 million readers and citizens of the world with the power of hope. Each editor in chief has chosen inspiring imageries that portray hope – photographs, illustrations or photo journalism images. In a time when the world is facing unprecedented challenges with the Covid-19 pandemic, economic struggles and climate change they convey positivity, unity and hope for a better future.”

The visual art exhibition under the theme of hope features inspiring imageries from 12 artists, including      Alex Face – Patcharapol Tangruen, BHBH – Thanawat Sakdawisarak, Bo Puntita Meeboonsabai,  Gongkan – Kantapon Metheekul, Jiab – Kultida Prachakul, Juli Baker and Summer – Chanaradee Chatrakul Na Ayudhaya, Jirayi Koo – Jirayu Kooamornpattana, Kritin – Krittin Teerawittayaart Ayudhya,    Nakrob – Nakrob Moonmanas, Nutdao –  Nuttapong Daovichitr, O Terawat – Terawat Teankaprasith, and Yoon Phannapast – Phannapast Taychamaythakool.  Also featured are captivating photographs from five celebrated photographers, including Nat Prakobsantisuk, Wasan Puengprasert, Tada Varich, Sootket Jewpanich and Aekarat Ubonsri. The showcased works are available for sale and part of the proceeds will be donated to Debaratana Vejjanukula Foundation.

In addition, visitors can engage with Hope Photo Booth and listen to Vogue Play List, a selection of hope-themed songs chosen by Vogue’s crews and celebrities and available to listen to on the Joox Machine and Joox Application. Hope Timeline is a chronological reminiscence and reflection of 2020 that encourages people to share their feelings about the events of the day while Hope Souvenirs offers exclusive items only available at the event.

Chanisa Kaewruen, Senior Deputy Managing Director of Siam Piwat Co., Ltd. said, “Vogue Hope At      Siam Center is a major collaboration between Siam Center and Vogue Thailand. Besides being inspiring this charitable exhibition features Hope Souvenirs. These are specially-designed prints with a theme of ‘hope’ created by five exhibiting artists: Gongkan, Juli Baker and Summer, Jirayi Koo, O Terawat and Yoon Phannapast. Visitors can select their favourite print to appear on T-shirts made from recycled thread that leaves less environmental impact or on tote bags. Limited edition face masks by Greyhound Original are also exclusively available. With a donation of THB199, visitors can take home a screened T-shirt of their chosen artists’ graphic or get a Greyhound Original face mask. Or receive a Greyhound tote bag, by simply presenting a THB800 receipt spent at participating shops at Siam Center, together with a THB199 donation or donate THB299. Visitors can also bring their own T-shirt to be screened at only THB100. Part of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to Debaratana Vejjanukula Foundation.   

Visitors can join the exhibition, share their stories of hope and browse the items designed by renowned artists at “Vogue Hope At Siam Center.” The event runs from today until 10 September 2020 at Atrium 1,  G Floor, Siam Center, The Ideopolis. A portion of the proceeds goes to Debaratana Vejjanukula Foundation.
