College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU) “No. 1 Ranking in Thailand”

According to recent data 2020, Mahidol is ranked as the No. 1 University in Thailand in the overall and research categories.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020 includes almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries and is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

The College of Management has been accredited by AACSB, which makes it internationally recognised among the top 5% of business schools around the world.

The College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU) provides innovative graduate programs in management, at the Master and Ph.D. levels. The Master of Management (M.M.) program offers specialisations in the following areas: General Management, Entrepreneurship Management, Marketing Management, Corporate Finance, Healthcare and Wellness Management, Management Research and Managing for Sustainability.

In addition, two Ph.D. programs, namely a Ph.D. in Management, and a Ph.D. in Sustainable Leadership, offer the opportunity for capable professionals to refine their expertise in management as well as their ability to create new knowledge.

Mahidol University has long been a leader in the "internationalisation" of higher education in Thailand. To date, the College of Management has developed dual degree programs, student and faculty exchanges, and special academic programs with more than 36 partner universities around the globe.

A double degree program with Toulouse School of Management in France offers CMMU students the chance to earn an additional Master degree in International Management.

A dual degree program with Macquarie University in Australia leads to an additional Master of Commerce degree.

A second degree program with the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia gives CMMU students an opportunity to earn a Master degree in Marketing.

The International Program at CMMU aims to develop organisational leaders with up-to-date knowledge and skills in management to deal with dynamic global changes through a combination of relevant research and practical learning.

The CMMU teaching approach is focused on Problem Based Learning (PBL) which emphasises learning by doing (active learning). As a Master’s degree is about learning the application of knowledge, class sizes are limited to a maximum of 30 students per course to allow instructors to create a student-centred learning environment. During the Covid-19 crisis, CMMU adopted online teaching via video conference tools and an e-learning platform.

CMMU scholarships provide support for students with high academic potential.

CMMU has a network of over 10,000 alumni who hold leadership positions in local and international companies, both in Thailand and abroad.
