Bangkok International Hospital offers minimally invasive spine surgeries under the concept “ERAS: Enhanced Recovery After Surgery”

that significantly helps patients regain their balance and return to daily lives even quicker.

Spine Center, Bangkok International Hospital recently launched “Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Program that can be fully applied to all minimally invasive spine surgery techniques. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Michael David Mitchell,  Director Bangkok International Hospital (center). The event was arranged at the hospital’s main lobby and attended by expert spine surgeons, including Dr. Sarij Srisuparp, Director Spine Centre (the 4th from left); Dr. Kanit Chamroontaneskul (the 3rd from left); Dr. Chaidej Sasomboon (the 1st from right) and Dr. Tayard Buranakarl (the 4th from right).

The ERAS Program has been designed to improve the recovery process after spine surgery. Supported by cutting-edge technology and appropriate surgical approaches, the ERAS Program conducted by specialized spine surgeons and a multidisciplinary team results in less pain, less postoperative complications, early mobilization, shorter hospital stay and faster recovery, allowing a quick return to normal activities with a full range of motion.
