Ajinomoto Foundation delivers standard canteen No. 126

Ajinomoto Foundation, represented by Mr. Hiroharo Motohashi (3rd row, 6th from left), Vice Chairman, together with top management, delivered Ajinomoto Canteen No.126 to Hiranphong Anuson School, Nong Suea district, Pathum Thani province, and handed it over to Mr. Supong Owat, Deputy Director of Pathumthani Primary Education Office Area 2 (3rd row, 4th from right), and Mr. Sanit Yamgesorn (3rd row, 6th from right), Deputy Secretary-General of Office of Basic Education Commission (OBEC), joined at the ceremony by honourable guests.

The school received funds for canteen construction under “Ajinomoto for Thais: Better Nutrition, Stronger Nation” project totalling 1,000,000 baht in 2019. Moreover, aiming to continually improve nutrition for students, Ajinomoto Foundation provides nutrition training for school personnel and develops model schools for neighbouring schools to follow.

As the project has run from 2010 to 2020, the foundation has supported construction of standard, hygienic canteens with measures in place to prevent the spread of viruses. In all, 105 million baht has distributed among 130 schools nationwide, thereby promoting better nutrition for Thai children who are the future strength of the nation.
