Live cattle donations and activities from Sufficiency Economy City Co., Ltd. and the team to Northeast farmers via at Wat Pa Satuek Pattana and Dhama Park Anachak Luang Pu Thuat Khao Yai.
In contribution to a royal merit of H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, Sr. Gp. Capt. Kampee Kampeerayannon, Chairman of Thai People Council for Nation Religion King and CEO of Sufficiency Economy City Co., Ltd., led a team to donate 39 live cattle to Northeast Farmers at Wat Pa Satuek Pattana, Satuek district, Buriram province, on Saturday 13 February 2021, and further collaborated with Luang Por Thuat Foundation (Khao Yai) and Khao Yai Tourism Association to donate an additional 30 live cattle at Dhama Park Anachak Luang Pu Thuat Khao Yai, Mu Si sub-district, Pak Chong district, Nakorn Ratchasima province, on Sunday 14 February 2021 during 9.30-3.00 pm.
Along with a global celebration of love, included activities aimed to signify a passing on of love through endless giving, whether it be in a form of physical labour, encouragement, or valuables, to constitute happiness for the recipients.
Presiding at the event was Sr. Gp. Capt. Kampee Kampeerayannon, along with guests of honour, Mrs. Pawana Prajit, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Nakorn Ratchasima Office, Mr. Theeradej Mekdara, Chief Advisor and representative of Disciple of Luang Por Thuat Khao Yai Foundation, Mrs. Panchana Vatanasathien, President of Khao Yai Tourism Association and members, and Mr. Viroj Arunpun, President of Khao Yai – Pak Chong Restaurant Owner Association, and members.
With the generosity of the Disciple of Luang Por Thuat Khao Yai Foundation, the donation event was held amid the beautiful landscape of Khao Yai valley where the giant 111-metre-tall golden statue of Luang Por Thuat is situated. With an opened almshouse arranged by the hosting parties, the event conveyed unity and care of Khao Yai locals.
As parts of the merit-making, the donation of 30 cattle went to the farmers from Nakhon Rachasima province, with an additional 20 cattle going to farmers from nearby provinces. Drawing lots, 10 more cattle went to the following lucky farmers from Pak Chong sub-district: 1. Mrs. Rumpueng Ploengnern from Pak Chong sub-district; 2. Ms. Pratueng Tuanpromratch from Mu Si sub-district; 3. Mr. Vinyan Yanvipassana from Pak Chong sub-district; 4. Ms. Suthanee Hauschantuek from Khanong Phra sub-district; 5. Mr. Bathayatun Sungthong from Mu Si sub-district; 6. Mr. Koad Jaengklieb from Khanong Phra sub-district; 7. Mr. Anont Supasit from Mu Si sub-district; 8. Mr. Jarun Wanggorglang from Nong Sarai sub-district; 9. Ms. Karigaphuneeya Khajornprawee from Wang Sai sub-district; 10. Mr. Anathawut Payaksri from Mu Si sub-district.
In addition to the donation event, Sufficiency Economy City Co., Ltd. provided SKY MED sanitary masks to Pak Chong hospital in Pak Chong district.
The day’s activities comprised religious and traditional performances as well as monk ceremonies, including invitation to blessing donated cattle, adorning cattle with garlands, traditional dancing by Pak Chong Wittaya students, and Earnkwan performance by Ban Tha Chang students from Pak Chong district, as well as Korat music performance by the former President of Northeastern-Style Music Association and members.
Awards and cash prizes were generously given to all the performers, with the most outstanding performance coming from a group of blind students from Makutkeereewan (Khao Yai) Music Academy, Pak Chong district, who proved that blindness could not hinder them from becoming skillful instrumentalists.
On this occasion, the Makutkeereewan students were bestowed the highest cash prize of 55,000 Baht as a scholarship to support their music opportunity, along with additional cash prizes of 800, 1,000, 5,000, 6,000 baht from, respectively, representative of Trekking and Organize (Thailand), Mrs. Panchana Vatanasathien, President of Khao Yai Tourism Association, Luang Por Thuat Foundation (Khao Yai), and Mrs. Chada Buranapim and the team.
The event left everybody feeling full of merit and happiness.
