Thai Vietjet forgest ahead

Contributes nearly 40% of domestic market growth in February and plans COVID-19 vaccinations for staff

According to Digital Government Development Agency (DGA) statistics, Thailand saw a 34% month-on-month increase in total air domestic passengers in February 2021, of which ThaiVietjet alone contributed nearly 40%. Moreover, as the airline has increased its total seat capacity by 72%, the total number of passengers it carried in February rose to 197,630.

ThaiVietjet recently resumed services between Phuket and Chiang Rai. At the same time, it continued to increase flight frequency on all domestic networks in Thailand, thereby reaffirming its value choices and enhancing the convenience it offers to all passengers.  Destinations served by the airline now include Bangkok, Phuket, Chang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, and Udon Thani.

Meanwhile, ThaiVietjet’s chairperson has just confirmed plans for the airline to vaccinate all staff within the coming weeks and months.
