ICONSIAM joins forces with GWM to deliver a new experience at Thailand’s 1st GWM Experience Centre

ICONSIAM and Great Wall Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. aim to reinvent the Thai auto industry alongside a glittering parade of leading global brands

ICONSIAM, the ultimate Chao Phraya riverside landmark, intensifies its status as a Thai leading retail developer and presenter of the potential of commerce in Thon Buri by joining forces with Great Wall Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (GWM) to open “Thailand’s 1st GWM Experience Centre”.

Located on the 3rd-4th floors of ICOMSIAM, Thailand’s 1st GWM Experience Centre develops the 4th Space to spark joy, recreation, and happiness outside the home, workplace, and other lifestyle spots. The new establishment is set to allow sharing and furthering of experiences while delivering a wonderful time through spe-cial activities. Plus provision of space for work and recreation, including a café, a mas-sive slide, and an exhibition of advanced technologies and automobile innovations that are eco-friendly and serve today’s lifestyle needs.

Supot Chaiwatsirikul, Managing Director of Icon Siam Co., Ltd., encapsulated the successful collaboration as follows: “For the past three years, ICONSIAM has con-sistently created a phenomenon that combines the best of Thailand and the world, turning this Chao Phraya riverside mega-project into one of the top global destina-tions. We are the first choice for countless global brands to open their flagship stores, many of which established their first site in this location. Our latest special addition is the launch of a space for creation of novel experiences, dubbed ‘GWM Experi-ence Centre’, which shares brand new experiences and wonderful times through an array of activities. Plus leading eco-friendly automobile technologies and innovations by GWM. Its automobile exhibition on the 3rd-4th floor of ICONSIAM alone is packed with fascinating designs.”

“Great Wall Motors is a leader in the electronic and hybrid vehicle industry. It’s a manufacturer of automobiles currently sold in over 60 countries worldwide, and its decision to join with ICONSIAM re-emphasises the importance of the riverside global landmark and the strengths of the department store. GWM’s investment in Thailand is expected to turn a new page for the Thai automobile industry, and can potentially create a new hub for manufacturing and export of automobiles, especially electric and hybrid types.”

Narong Sritalayon, Managing Director of Great Wall Motor Thailand, re-vealed about the company’s decision to open the 1st GWM Experience Centre at ICONSIAM: “ICONSIAM’s location and global landmark of the Chao Phraya River has turned the site into the most lucrative commercial space in Thon Buri and it draws visi-tors from essentially anywhere. We are delighted to have the opportunity to join ICONSIAM, and we are certain that our spacious 1st GWM Experience Centre on ICONSIAM’s 3rd-4th floors delivers wonderful experiences through various activities involving modern and eco-friendly automobile technologies and innovations.”

“GWM Experience Centre marks a significant milestone for GWM to introduce its whereabouts, products, and services that fit everybody’s needs. In essence, our site is designed to elevate ‘user-centred’ experiences that are the heart of GWM’s op-erations. Not only does this allow visitors to enjoy our products and services present-ed under the concepts of ‘New Energy’, ‘New Intelligence’, and ‘New Experience’, but also allow us to offer The 4th Space for home, workplace, and recreational ideas. In other words, it’s a place everybody will think of when it comes to learning and rec-reational activities and allowing creativity to flourish.”
