MEA in collaboration with SC Asset launches new service

platform leveraging electricity service provision and mitigating Covid-19 risks

Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), led by Nantana Thammawilaiwat, Cyber Security & Information Good Governance Director, in collaboration with SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited (SC Asset), led by Sudarat Chareonkatemongkol, Head of Customer Management & Sustainable Development, along with Direk Tayakee, Head of Living Solutions, launched the extension of the “MEA Smart Life Platform” to residents of SC Asset properties.

Launched on 15 October 2021, the new service is purposed to mitigate risks of COVID-19 infection when residents of SC Asset properties access electricity service points in Verve Ramkhamhaeng – Wongwaen area.

MEA, as the state-owned enterprise providing electricity in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakarn, realises the significance of service improvements in response to urban lifestyle changes and make life more convenient while safeguarding the public.

The collaborative agreements connects consumers to services available on MEA Smart Life application via SC Asset’s own Roojai application.

The app extension enables residents of SC Asset projects to check their electricity bills and make payments via QR Code or barcode. They can also access six-month electricity payment history, announcements about electric shutdowns and up-coming projects, and report electricity outrages.

Residential property developments interested in linking their in-house service application with MEA Smart Life, please contact Digital Technology Development department, MEA at 0-2442-2600 ext 4465.
