Thaioil Wins 3 Regional Awards at 11th Asian Excellence Awards 2021

Mr. Wirat Uanarumit, Chief Executive Officer and President of Thai Oil Public Company Limited, was recently presented with the “Asia’s Best CEO (Investor Relations) Award” for the fifth consecutive year, which was organised as a digital ceremony by Corporate Governance Asia publication, Hong Kong and Asia’s leading magazine: focused on economic and corporate governance news. In this event, Mrs. Wanida Boonpiraks, Executive Vice President – Finance and Accounting, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, was presented two awards, namely, Asia’s Best CFO (Investor Relations) Award for the third consecutive year and Best Investor Relations by Company Award for the eighth consecutive year.

The company won The Asia’s Best CEO (Investor Relations) award for the third consecutive year. This award recognises the achievement of the organisation leader who drives overall management and sustainable growth of the company as well as fairness in taking responsibility to shareholders, investors and stakeholders. That leads to a trustworthy and well-accepted organisation both locally and internationally.

The company won Asia’s Best CFO (Investor Relations) award for the third consecutive time. This award is design to recognise the achievement of top management that drives excellent financial management, capable of allocating organisational resources with effective finance, including creating value-added and maximum benefits for the organisation with consideration of the returns to all stakeholders. 

This is the eighth consecutive Best Investor Relations by Company award that the company has won. The award recognises the company for its outstanding commitment to the highest standard of disclosure to all stakeholders and fairness in disseminating information that is transparent, fair, accurate, adequate and timely in accordance with the basic principles of investor relations.
