For the long-awaited festival of lights in Thailand, Index Creative Village, in collaboration with the Ancient City Museum, created the “Thailand International Lantern and Food Festival”, a series of cosy nights during November and December. The festival was celebrated in eight picturesque check-in locations featuring over 1,000 colourful hand-crafted lanterns from Japan, Vietnam, China and Thailand.

Beside the Loy Krathong Festival, spectacular fireworks displays on Friday nights and a market with international cuisines and fresh seafood from Bang Pu were also featured. The festival marked the return of colour to the capital that included a special ‘night at the museum’ experience.

The great response and success of the event, heralded the opportunity to create and develop a further collaboration with the ancient city. This time, the program will feature a light festival at least as beautiful as previous events. 

As rays of light spill through the sky at dawn, we will meet again.
