A series of COVID-19 waves in Thailand over the past few years has been creating health concerns for people in many ways which has also led to reduced availability of blood donors, causing a severe blood shortage. With this in mind, Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or “FPT”, a leading integrated real estate platform in Thailand, has joined hands with the Thai Red Cross to continue its good cause, organising the seventh blood donation at Samyan Mitrtown between 17-18 January 2022.

FPT’s management participated in this activity and encouraged employees, partners, customers and communities to contribute to the blood drive. The collaboration of FPT and the Thai Red Cross has collected 1,793,950 CC of blood at present. 366,300 CC of blood was collected from the latest activity setting a new record high. This success reflects an increase of public awareness of the blood shortage. The blood donors with pre-registration received a “Connexion” limited-edition t-shirt illustrated by artist Pitchaya Srirapong, aka Beerpitch, as an appreciation gift. The t-shirt has an original graphic showing a sign of doing good for the community.

FPT is committed to support local communities and society by organising blood donations on a quarterly basis. The company will also expand the campaign to its residential projects and commercial buildings under its management, namely, Park Ventures Ecoplex and Sathorn Square. The next blood donation will be held in April 2022.
