Taiwan Excellence, a project to bring the best Taiwan-made products to the world, reappears once more at Manufacturing Expo. This time, to acquaint Thailand buyers with more advantages of Taiwan’s automation industry, Taiwan Excellence introduces the latest smart manufacturing solutions from five of the most renowned Taiwanese automation companies.
After a two-year break, Manufacturing Expo, South East Asia’s largest industry exhibition, is back at last and better than ever. The “Taiwan Excellence Pavilion” at the expo focuses on cutting-edge industrial automation featuring five award-winning companies – SOLOMON, Techman Robot, TOYO, TBI MOTION, and PLANET. The companies are lined up to show their latest products and solutions, including AI/3D machine vision system, collaborative robots (cobots), precision transmission components such as linear slides and ball screws, and industrial network infrastructures.
To share more innovative techniques and product features with visitors to the show, Taiwan Excellence also held “Change the World with Taiwan Automation Solutions” product launch on the first day of the exhibition. This gave participants and spectators the opportunity to get acquainted with Taiwan’s latest best-in-class automation technologies.
SOLOMON introduced the applications of its automatic pick-place system which integrates machine visual, AI learning, and 3D scanning in a range of production lines and warehouses.
Techman Robot stated the characteristics of its cobots: smart, simple, safe. It shared cobot cases applied in metal processing, plastic and rubber production, and automated production lines.
TOYO shared applications of its precision components in the medical field, PCB inspection, and scooters assembly. It also showed its self-developed automatic USB assembly line.
TBI MOTION introduced the characteristics and usage scenarios of its linear actuators and ball screws, highlighting its applications in industry, medical, transportation, and precision machines.
PLANET introduced various industrial network infrastructure solutions, and shared how its products help traditional makers and small business operators create industrial network environments.
Nick Ni, Director of Economic Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand was invited as VIP to deliver opening remarks.
“Among products Thailand imported from Taiwan, machinery and manufacturing related products account for nearly 19%, ranking second,” he said. “This shows how Taiwanese equipment, machinery and systems enjoy high recognition among Thai industries.”
“Taiwan’s automation industry provides various smart manufacturing solutions with high quality at reasonable prices,” he continued. “The solutions meet different production demands which leads us to believe that Taiwan can be an excellent partner with Thai manufacturers, helping them to realise much more of their great potential.”
