AISL announces signature landmark for global educators

Asia International School Limited (AISL) announces the establishment plan for AISL Academy in Bangkok in 2024.

Located next to Harrow International School Bangkok, a member of the AISL Harrow family, the Academy will further strengthen the educational provision of Harrow Bangkok and introduce a signature destination with world-class facilities and the latest educational technologies for educators around the world to Bangkok.

With the vision of Educators for Excellence, the Academy will be a state-of-the-art architecture built to nurture and support the continuous learning of teachers and educators to address changing pedagogic needs in a challenging and complex world through professional development and attainment. Learners will enjoy easy access to a wide range of multimedia and online resources housed in venues featuring purpose-built experiential learning labs that showcase the latest digital teaching and learning resources.

The Academy is adopting environmentally sustainable designs that will also benefit the nearby community. Systems for natural ventilation, solar panels, water reuse and water saving, LEED are planned for the building. The Academy will also organise learning programmes supporting the United Nations’ Sustainability Development Goals. Educational and community events will be organised at the Academy and the public green spaces.

AISL believes in investing in how educators learn so as to enable them to teach better and nurture their students to their highest abilities. Before the construction of AISL Academy is accomplished, the online learning platform of the Academy will be launched to educational specialists in 2023. The Platform will give access to the latest and best practices of pedagogy, professional learning and social development within an international, interactive and interconnected setting.
